The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina, a non-profit botanical garden, is committed to improving lives and nurturing creativity through the wonders of nature. Spanning over 300 acres of land, our aspiration is to establish ourselves as a premier destination for plant and nature enthusiasts, event goers, families, and people of all ages!


We warmly welcome the public to explore The Gardens from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, as well as on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Additionally, don't forget to check our events calendar for special hours and family-friendly activities!

The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina is located in the heart of beautiful Pender County! 

  • 10 minutes from Wallace
  • 15 minutes from Burgaw
  • 40 minutes from Wilmington
  • 45 minutes from Jacksonville
  • 1.5 hours from New Bern
  • 1.5 hours from Raleigh

Just off of I-40! Take exit 390 towards Wallace.
