Annual Planting Day: Volunteer Day

We need your help! The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina is hosting our Annual Planting Day, and we invite you to join us in planting 2,000 annual plants to enhance our beautiful gardens. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to our community, connect with fellow nature lovers, and enjoy a day outdoors.

Event Details

Date: Saturday, March 15th
Time:
- 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM — Planting
- 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM — Lunch Provided (potentially from Ellis’ Food)
- 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM — Planting
Location: The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina
Cost: Free! (Includes a complimentary lunch at 12:30 PM)

Sign Up & Volunteer

We encourage volunteers to sign up for one or both time slots. To participate, please complete our volunteer sign-up form and sign the required waiver. Your support is essential in making this event a success!

What to Bring

To ensure a comfortable and productive experience, please bring:

Gloves
Water bottle
Hand tool (if available)
Closed-toe shoes (required for safety)

Join us for this rewarding day as we work together to beautify the Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina! Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a first-time volunteer, everyone is welcome. Let’s plant, grow, and give back to nature!
