The Director of Development plans, directs, and leads a comprehensive development program intended to leverage community support, enhance the visibility of the organization, and generate the financial resources needed to operate The Gardens of SENC. The Director of Development collaborates with the Executive Director, the CEO, the Board of Directors, and the communications, marketing, and events team to establish short and long-term fundraising goals.
Reporting to the Executive Director and CEO, this executive serves as a member of the senior executive team, is a resource for the Board of Directors and is the liaison to the Board’s Development Committee.
The Director of Development plans, organizes, and directs The Gardens fundraising activities including: the major gifts program, annual fund, planned giving, capital campaigns, grantsmanship, membership program coordination, and special events. The Director of Development will be responsible for management and oversight of a development team.
