On November 15th, we're kicking off The Southern Lights in style! The Premiere Party is an elegant evening, where you will be the first to stroll through the lights while music, drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be awaiting you. For more information click here!
Tickets are $10 online per person and $12 the day of the event (online and at the door). Children aged 5 and under can attend all nights for free!

We have 2 different event options for The Southern Lights:
Yes! A season pass gives you unlimited access to our Southern Lights event throughout the entire season*. You'll be able to explore the lights, visit our concessions, and enjoy all the seasonal treats as often as you like without purchasing a new ticket every night. We have 2 different season passes available for purchase:
*Premiere party is excluded from the season passes.
**A Family of 4 Season Pass is intended for four individuals living in the same household, specifically two parents and two children under the age of 21.
***Season Passes are non-transferable and intended for use by the pass holder only.
No reservation is required for Season Pass holders! Simply show your QR code at the entrance each time for easy access.

We are open on select evenings from 5:30 PM to 9 PM. Please view our events calendar above for a full list of The Southern Lights dates.
Yes! At-the-door purchases are $12 per person. Exceptions include our Premiere Party on November 15th, which is priced at $50.

This email confirmation has important information including: the date and time of the event and an individual QR code that will be scanned at the gate for admission. If you have lost your email confirmation / ticket, please email us at info@thegardensofsenc.com. We can send you a duplicate copy via email or text message. Our tickets can be saved to your Apple and Android Wallet for easy retrieval.
No worries! Just open your email confirmation and scroll down to the Order Summary section. Click the blue "Change your event time" button, then choose the new date you'd like to attend. Your original QR codes from the email or text message will still be valid for entry at The Southern Lights.
Our ticket price is per person.
We greatly appreciate the service of our armed forces and their families. Currently, we are unable to offer a military discount, as our admission is only $10 per person. However, we plan to implement a military discount next year.
At this time, our Gardens are not fully wheelchair accessible. We are actively working on creating a new pathway to better accommodate wheelchair users. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us so we can better understand your needs and assist you as best as we can.
Certainly! Your furry family member is warmly welcomed as long as they are well-behaved, kept on a leash and picked up after.
Yes! The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina provides abundant parking to accommodate guests.
The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina is a non-profit botanical gardens that is a sister company of Johnson Nursery. Therefore, we are located on the same grounds.
We politely request that you refrain from bringing external food or drinks.
The Southern Lights offers an amazing, outdoor walking light experience through The Gardens. Please dress appropriately for chilly nighttime winter conditions.
While our campus is smoke-free, we do allow smoking in the designated parking area.
We at The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina strive to provide excellent products and/or services and a seamless experience to all our patrons. However, we understand that sometimes circumstances may lead to the cancellation of a purchase or service. In such cases, we have devised a refund policy that not only accommodates cancellations but also supports a worthy cause.
The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina reserves the right to reschedule or cancel The Southern Lights due to inclement weather.
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable unless the event is canceled without rescheduling. No refunds or exchanges will be provided for unused tickets or for inability to attend a rescheduled date.
Instead of issuing a monetary refund, we encourage you to make a meaningful impact in the community. If you choose to cancel your tickets, your purchase will be converted into a charitable donation to The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina, a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental conservation and community enrichment.
Please note that no refunds will be provided for cancellations made by attendees for any reason.
This refund policy is subject to change without prior notice. Any updates will be posted here on our website and will apply to all cancellation requests made after the revised policy's effective date.
